In general, when you have a webcam or videocamera connected to the PC it can`t be used in more than one application at the same time. This is the reason for SplitVideo. It is a free program that lets you collect the capture from your webcam and divide it into various parts so you can use it in multiple applications at the same time.

With this simple tool you can connect up to 64 clients to just one video source. You can use SplitVideo to send movies or with video-conferencing programs like MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype Video, etc. Thus, for example, you can view your favourite video and share it with friends at the same time.

SplitVideo also includes various options so you can personalize the viewing, it includes macros and skins you can choose as you want, each application can have its own screen resolution and, if you need, with SplitVideo you can also take screenshots and edit the obtained images with a basic pack of photo editing tools.
